Order in the closet is very difficult to maintain, especially if one garment is placed behind another. Carefully arranged structures quickly lose their resonance and we are left with a pile of clothes in disarray
How to organize a closet or a closet, so that the clothes are visible, and their condition allows you to wear them immediately after removal? Here are some simple tricks!
The key to a neat closet is good organization of space. It does not matter whether you have a large closet or a small one – it is enough to plan the arrangement of clothes and put them away properly.
Properly put clothes, firstly, is easier to locate. Secondly, proper arrangement makes them not crumple, which in turn shortens the time of getting ready e.g. in the morning for work. The goal is for the clothes to fit into the closet and be ready to wear after removal.
Importantly, this is possible, you just need to apply a few patents that will change your life. To begin with, you need to focus on tidying up your closet, you need to get rid of things that you no longer wear. It is best to put them up on online auctions.
The second stage is to divide things into those which we store on shelves and those which we can hang on hangers.
Shirts, jackets, outer garments, dresses, skirts and fabric pants – these items of clothing can be safely hung in the closet. It is best to get hangers with soft edges, which do not damage the clothes. Skirts and pants can be hung through the middle part of the hanger, while jackets and shirts should be fastened carefully on all buttons. This will prevent the clothes from slipping off the hangers. It is also a good idea to hang each outerwear item separately, possibly accompanied by a skirt or pants.
Everyone has basic t-shirts in their closet. They are versatile and will work well in many situations. So let’s focus on them. After ironing the t-shirt, grab it by the bottom edge and sleeve and fold the material about ¼ of its width inwards. On the other side, do exactly the same. Finally, bend the bottom of the t-shirt and fold it in half
So folded t-shirt turn over to the other side, neckline up. It is good for the clothes to have more space, so it is better to spread them over several piles.
Folding a sweater is not a great philosophy. The material of a knitted sweater is unlikely to crease, but it usually takes up quite a bit of space. Here’s the trick to folding sweaters – grab the garment by the shoulders, fold the sides and sleeves inward to about ¼ of the width on both sides. Then fold the whole thing in half. And you’re done!
Jeans are the kind of pants that don’t usually crease, so folding them is not difficult. But what about fabric pants that don’t fit in your closet? All you have to do is fold leg to leg, then bend the whole thing in half and then in half again.
Going back to jeans, it is good to hide the piping that makes the pants form an irregular shape. It is best to bend it inward and then fold the garment just like fabric pants. On the other hand, pants with an edge are folded in line with it, this will allow you to keep their natural outline.
