There is probably no person who does not like to drink tea. We can get different kinds and colors of it in the stores. However, it doesn’t mean different kinds, just the way it is collected and dried. Each kind has its individual characteristics. The most popular is definitely black tea, but we can also notice the growing popularity of green and white teas. The latter is called the empress among teas. What are its properties?

Why white tea?

White tea is made from the young leaves and shoots of the tea plant collected at an early stage of growth. They are then dried in a non-invasive way. This gives it a delicate flavour and contains many ingredients that are good for your health.

Properties of white tea

This tea is rich in antioxidants. Its healing properties are similar to those of green tea, but much stronger. It has a positive effect on the anti-aging process of our body cells. Protects against free radicals. Regularly drinking white tea helps reduce the risk of heart disease and insulin resistance. Minimizes the risk of Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer and osteoporosis. The caffeine and catechins it contains aid weight loss by promoting fat burning
